DakshCraft's bedsheet are handcrafted by textile artisans of Jaipur in Rajasthan. The cotton fabric is handloom woven by the textile weavers of Rajasthan. Printing is done by the artisans of Jaipur. These artisans use hand-block prints and tie and dye prints. The tradition of making hand-printed textiles, widely practiced in both Rajasthan and Gujarat is characterized by the use of imprints of geometric as well as stylized floral and animal forms. Both areas therefore have craft clusters that specialize in making blocks for block printing. |
